Customise the chat widget
The widget is white-labelled — visitors see your brand, not ours. Appearance settings live in the dashboard and the preview reflects changes before you publish them.
Appearance
Go to Settings → Appearance. You can set the widget colour, upload an avatar, name the assistant, choose which side of the screen the launcher sits on, and write the greeting that fires when the panel opens. The preview pane updates as you edit.
- Colour — use your primary brand colour, and check contrast against white text in the launcher.
- Avatar — a square image reads best; the launcher crops to a circle.
- Assistant name — give it a name that does not imply it is a specific human being.
- Greeting — one sentence. Long greetings get dismissed.
Operating hours
Settings → Operating hours sets when human operators are available, per day. Outside those hours the AI keeps answering and escalated conversations queue in the inbox rather than disappearing.
Customer satisfaction prompt
Settings → Customer satisfaction controls the CSAT rating prompt shown at the end of a conversation. Ratings appear against the conversation and feed operator reporting.
Do not over-configure it
The widgets that perform best are the plain ones. Every extra pre-chat field is a reason for someone not to ask their question.
